This is the success story of Misbah Shabbir D/O Muhammad Shabbir, who belongs to Karachi.  Misbah faced to tough time during her childhood, her mother had passed away she was very young, and her father is a labour who earns daily wage salary.

Misbah has always had the interest in studies, she was a smart student, and used to get good grades, her father wanted her to study well, but could not afford to pay the tuition fees, hence seeing her interest in studies her father had got her admission done in HOPE High School Zia Colony, Korangi. Where he told about their financial situation, upon which HOPE completely waved off the tuition fees throughout her schooling. The other educational supplies related costs were also sponsored by HOPE – An Educational NGO in Pakistan. HOPE has never charged a single penny from Misbah in all these years.  HOPE has also provided the essential items required for education like school bag, stationary, lunch box, text books, copies etc.

Misbah passed her matric from HOPE Zia School.  She is now a teacher and teaches islamiat in school. Through which she supports in the house.  Misbah recently got married to a tailor. She personally believes the stage she is at right now it is because of the support of HOPE – An NGO in Pakistan

Dr. Mubina Agboatwalla – A Child Specialist in Karachi, monitors the progress of each of her school very

closely, and encourages the education of such children who have high ambitions but cannot afford school fees. Such students can be made capable enough of getting a respectable job and earing an income that could improve the conditions of their family.

Giving to charity is a selfless act. There’s no financial return. Generosity for its own sake creates a more compassionate, community-focused world. Modeling the value of generosity and selflessness to children makes it more likely they will continue to give as adults. This creates lasting change and a legacy of kindness. Recently on Saturday, December 16, 2023. Parhokhelo Pakistan successful completed its Golden Jubilee Community Service initiative, marking a momentous milestone in our ongoing commitment to creating positive change within our community.

Parhokhelo Pakistan 50th initiative was completed and was celebrated with with students of HOPE – An Educational NGO in Pakistan, this happiness was expressed by the distribution gift bags to the students who are studying at the HOPE Formal School in Zia Colony, Korangi, Karachi.

HOPE – A Health NGO in Pakistan is a reputable non profitable organization, which caters towards the health and educationAL sector in Pakistan. This organization is running under the leadership of Dr. Mubina Agboatwalla – A Child Specialist in Karachi, who is also the Chairperson of HOPE.

HOPE has a Formal Network of Schools in Pakistan, which provides quality education up to Matric in well-established buildings, in a neat & clean atmosphere, here qualified teachers teach students belonging to poor communities, whose fathers are either farmers, laborers or jobless. Furthermore, many students are orphans. These are the children whose parents are unable to afford school fees, and are forced to work as child labours. HOPE being the ray of light provides an assurity to their parents that they will be provided the best education, free of cost or at a very minimal cost.  Uniforms, stationery and school bags are provided free of cost.

HOPE’s Formal High School (Zia Colony, Karachi) is one of HOPE’s most successful Schools and like any other curriculum, students of this school gave their high school examination and passed with flying colors. The students worked very hard all year long, but their hard work paid off in the end. With a total of  4 “A+” grades, 20 “A” Grade, and 2 “B” grades, this year no student got C grade or less.  The students brought light to the hard work of the teachers and their own efforts paid off.  

The Principal of HOPE Zia School, Namely Miss Shaista Parveen and all the teachers worked extremely hard , and this is a very proud moment for HOPE –  An NGO In Pakistan.

HOPE under the leadership of Dr. Mubina Agboatwalla is doing its best to eliminate illiteracy in Pakistan. HOPE thoroughly tries to provide education to all, especially the underprivileged masses.

The 12th Rabi-ul-Awal marks the birth of the Holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (Peace be upon him). Eid-e-Milad un Nabi, is the birth anniversary of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), which is remembered with religious zeal. The roads and buildings across the country are decorated with lightings and buntings. People are deeply devoted in prayers. People marched in rallies wearing colorful dresses. Religious festivities are the part of Pakistani society; it promotes religious and cultural values.

As the tradition lives on just like every year various religious programs are arranged at HOPE – An NGO in Pakistan, the occasion of Eid-Milad-un-Nabi at HOPE Head office was arranged on Friday 22nd September 2023. HOPE made tremendous seating and audio arrangements for the function. A grand function was celebrated with full zeal and zest. All students and staff members from various schools and hospitals were gathered together for this prosperous occasion. Naats and Durood Pak were recited in remembrance of the life of Holy Prophet (PBUH).

The event started by the recitation of Holy Quran. Students of HOPE’s schools recited naats in their beautiful voices. HOPE – An Educational NGO in Pakistan is always doing its best to create opportunities  which allows its  students to reveal their hidden talents, and on this occasion it was a great opportunity for the students to show their love for the Holy Prophet (P.B.U.H) in their beautiful voices. Naats were recited by famous Naat Khuwans, Teachers and students in the way that it engaged the audience in the feeling of devotion.  Everyone celebrated the day with complete happiness and zeal.

Under the leadership of Dr. Mubina Agboatwalla – A Child Specialist in Karachi, the event went very successful. The planning was well done by the staff of HOPE, At the end everyone was served with burger, french-fries, sweets and cold drinks.

There were one hundred and fifty student s from HOPE Zia Colony School and twelve teachers to supervise them. These students were given presentations on stars, planets and celestial objects and it was sponsored by Suparco. The students were given refreshments and they  enjoyed this knowledgeable and awareness activity.

In future, children won’t perceive the stars as mere twinkling points of light: they’ll learn that each is a ‘Sun’, orbited by planets fully as interesting as those in our Solar system.”- Martin Rees

HOPE NGO in Pakistan always encourages its students to participate in different activities. These students belong to the improvised communities whose families cannot afford to send them to good private schools.

Thus, HOPE an educational NGO in Pakistan, which is run under the leadership of Dr. Mubina Agboatwalla, the child specialist  in Karachi and the Chairperson of HOPE not only provides them free quality education but also takes care of their mental and physical health and helps them excel in life. Dr Adnan took a mind sciences session with HOPE school kids & made them aware of the concept of Mind sciences which was a good learning experience for them. School teachers & Headmistress also attended this knowledgeable session.

HOPE team monitory visit to Thatta

NGOs are working towards the betterment of society, however for this  purpose different non profit organizations performs different tasks which provide them satisfaction. This is not easy at all; a regular and continuous supervision is required to make sure that each job is done at its best level. Sometimes, it is because of this supervision that the field workers of NGOS have to travel in the scorching beam of heat, under the thunderstorms, in the valleys which are spread over mountains however; it’s their job satisfaction which make them overlooked these environmental factors.

For this purpose, every week HOPE NGO in Pakistan team visited Thatta… HOPE an educational NGO in Pakistan which is run under the leadership of Dr. Mubina Agboatwalla, the child specialist in Karachi and the chairperson of HOPE has set up a formal School and Hospital in Thatta. HOPE Community Center has been constructed in Thatta, Sindh with assistance from the Japanese Embassy Grass Root Assistance (GRA) Program. Thatta – Hospital. The hospital in Thatta provides secondary care facilities to the poor and rural area in Thatta districts. There is no other blood bank in there, except the one in the HOPE Thatta Hospital. HOPE strive to provide the best of medical care in the rural setting of Thatta by providing laboratory technicians, X-Ray technicians as well as some paramedical staff from Karachi. Consultants including gynecologists, surgeons, and child specialist weekly provide consultation visits from Karachi. Annually 52,000 patients are seen, 1781surgeries conducted and 448 neonates treated in NICU. Similarly HOPE Thatta School  is providing quality education at low costs to the community children. This school was previously built in HOPE hospital building but In 2010, a new building for the school was opened. The school currently has 500 students and ten teachers. There is a science lab, computer room and library and regular supervisions has made these organizations to reach to an outstanding level.

This supervision is a positive way of building   the effectiveness of this organization through staff, which are the greatest asset for HOPE, there are trained supervisors and build culture that values supervision. Here, a Regular and planned supervision is the norm. Best practices are reflected in systems from job postings through performance reviews. The organizational culture values supervision and provides the tools which  supervisors and staff need, in order to make the most of their organizational relationship, which can help everyone to be more effective and efficient.
